DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nCommunity Resilience Against Climate Change\nUdny Community Wind Turbine Open Day\nSaturday 3rd October\, 10am – 3pm\n\n\n\nVisit the Udny Community Wind Turbine at Tillymaud and learn how:\n\n\n\nUdny Community Trust is supporting sustainable development in Udny through renewable energy.\nUdny Resilience Group is leading the community in preparing for\, and responding to\, significant weather events.\nUdny Climate Action is spearheading local action to prepare for and mitigate the impacts of climate change.\n\n\n\n\nDIRECTIONS\nThe entrance to the turbine site is at: \n\nGoogle Maps: bit.ly/4Ai1xGV\n\nWhat 3 Words: ///pill.snuggled.irritate\n\n  \nUCTC-Turbine-Location-Map\n\n  \n\nKey information for visitors:\n\nFlat\, sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing is advised.\nIf required\, please bring ear protection against the noise of the turbine.\nThe turbine is located in rural\, working farmland and visitors may be exposed to pollen and natural allergens. Please bring personal allergy medication\, if required.\nLight refreshments will be provided.\nAccessible toilet facilities will be available.\nPlease follow directional and safety signage and instructions on site\nCome any time between 10am and 3pm.
