I think I might have something in my eye. 😢
Thank you so much to all the Pitmedden Health Walkers who turned out this morning to see me off. Your lovely gift, kind wishes and usual humour, really made my day.
I am moving on to pastures new at the start of next week, but of all the things I will miss here in Pitmedden, I will miss the Tuesday morning walkers the most.
Thank you all.
Yvonne

Camera problems so no photo today, but with Wullie being out of action the courgette harvest has been halted for a few days. The result is some ginormous courgettes in need of a recipe.
We will use some of them up, but there are still a few spare. If anyone wants to take them away, you would be most welcome. The spare ones are sitting in the basket beside Wullie's greenhouse.
Here is a recipe to inspire you.

Know this problem. We have too many courgettes, soup, courgette bake…. How many variations!!

They were amazing! I was peeking over the fence on a dog walk and wondered if I was mistaken for them being a squash of some sort!
Are they called marrows now? Let one grow huge and have competition to guess its weight...

That's me back from my epic adventure North. I made it to John O Groats from Muir of Ord, then decided to cycle most of the way back. Here are some photos from my trip. Thank you to everyone who has donated to my fundraiser for SAMH. It is much appreciated. Yvonne
