Julian has thirty years’ experience working as a petroleum engineer extracting oil from the North Sea for British Gas, Exxonmobil and RepsolSinopec. Expertise in project management, forecasting, economics, acquisitions, divestments and leading multidisciplinary teams.
He has lived in the Udny area for twenty-three years and has been treasurer of the Udny Community Trust Company for the past eight years. As treasurer he takes the lead preparing the annual accounts and managing the trust’s investments.
In the past he has been chair of Udny Green School parent council. An active Musician and supporter of the arts he helps run Inverurie orchestra and plays in Granite City band.
