Join the Project Evaluation Group (PEG)
This role will give you a unique opportunity to help our community grow and develop by helping us to evaluate large grant applications (over £500) that have applied for our funding. The process of becoming a new PEG member is very straight forward. We offer a short informal training session during which we will go over everything that you will need to know. This can be arranged at a time to suit you and it won’t take longer than an hour to complete.
I am part of the PEG team as I enjoy watching how we can benefit the area and take part in making it happen.I was involved as a Director when the UCT was just starting up and take great pride in it growing .
Current Peg member.
Become a Udny Health Walk Leader
Volunteers (aged 18 plus) are welcome from all walks of life! You just need to be interested in becoming part of your local Walking for Health project as a volunteer.
Volunteers will be signed up for a one day course to enable them to lead safe and effective Health Walks around Pitmedden as part of a Health Walk Project.
Become a Director
If you are already a member of UCTC and would like to become more involved in the day-to-day decision making of UCTC, then you can apply to become a Director. Provided that there is a vacancy, you will be co-opted onto the Board and can take a full part in Board Meetings immediately. Being co-opted onto the Board is an ideal opportunity to see first-hand what becoming a Director is all about.
Your full membership of the Board of Directors will be discussed and formalised at the next Annual General Meeting following your application.
Directors are legally responsible for making sure that UCTC complies with legislation related to the running of UCTC and are also charged with making decisions about the direction UCTC will take in relation to its charitable purposes.
