What can we say, wow!
Firstly, a massive thank you to Bill and Bert for hosting the Conversation Cafe yesterday. You really did take us, in fact you took more than 30 of us, on a big trip down memory lane! What's their secret, why so many people in our Quarry Room today? Bert tells me it was his aftershave or could it be Agnes's scones, thanks Agnes!
The Quarry Room was buzzing, filled with lots of blethering, fun and laughter! Tracy was on hand sorting us all out with tea and coffee and everyone who came lent a hand to set-up and tidy-up, thank you, we appreciate the help and support. The Cafe Staff and Volunteers kept us in check helping to set-up too, thanks Nicola and Margaret.
It was also so lovely to welcome quite a few folk in that maybe had not been to our Conversation Cafes before. We hope that you pop in again for another one.
There was a real pulling together, a real community effort to make the Conversation Cafe happen, you are all amazing! Thanks to each and every one of you!
