We had a fantastic night at the SURF Awards Dinner on 4th December, where a group of volunteers, staff and directors from Udny Community Trust Company Ltd and Cafe48 headed down to Glasgow to represent The Medan Centre. We might not have come home with the award, but we’re absolutely honoured and chuffed to bits to have been shortlisted, and to have our work commended by the judges. It really meant a lot to see our community project recognised on a national stage.
