We arranged for the P6s and P7s of Pitmedden and Udny Green Schools to visit the Turbine where they learned about the inner workings of it and got to try on the harnesses that are used to climb it.

They then took part in a turbine making competition in the Quarry Room where the winners were given Cafe48 vouchers.

The visits were very well received and we hope to make this a regular yearly visit for future P7s.
